VortexSettings
VortexSettings is the server's shared player preferences system. It's what powers the little toggles you'll see referenced across other TheVortex features, hotbar messages, PvP mode, TPA requests, and more, all in one place.

Overview
Open your settings menu any time with:
/settings(aliases:/setting,/prefs,/preferences) - opens your personal settings menu.
There's no sub-syntax to memorize, everything is done by clicking inside the menu itself.
The Settings Menu
The menu is spread across two pages, navigated with buttons in the bottom corners. Each setting shows an icon describing what it does, with a status indicator right below it:
- Enabled - green, the feature is currently on.
- Disabled - gray, the feature is currently off.
- Locked - a small handful of settings require specific gear before you can touch them (see below).
Toggling is instant, just click the indicator and it flips, no confirmation needed. You'll get a quick chat message confirming the change.
If a toggle doesn't seem to respond, your settings file may just need to catch up with a recently added option. Ask staff to run a settings sync for your account and it'll sort itself out.

Locked settings show a lock icon and can't be toggled until you're wearing the matching full armor set.
A Few Notes
- Almost everything defaults to on - the two exceptions are PvP Mode and AFK Status, which start off until you enable them yourself.
- Payment Alerts is separate from Payment System, disabling alerts just hides the notification, it doesn't stop people from paying you. Disable Payment System itself if you want to block payments entirely.
- Death Messages currently only affects certain artifact-related deaths, not every death on the server.
- These settings are shared across every TheVortex plugin, so a toggle you set here can affect behavior in several different systems at once.
