Hoe Enchants
Hoe Enchantments
Hoe enchantments are special upgrades applied to custom hoes via Enchant Crystals.
Each hoe can hold multiple enchants, though some conflict with each other.
Despite the name, the custom hoe is a fast melee weapon - not a farming tool. Auto-replanting is handled separately by the server and isn't tied to any enchant.
Enchant lines appear on the hoe's lore between the separator lines, above the VortexArtifacts footer.
Rarity Tiers
Rarity controls how often an enchant shows up when rolling a crystal - weights are per-enchant, and higher rolls more often.
| Rarity | Roll Weight | Count |
| Common | 80 | 6 |
| Uncommon | 40 | 8 |
| Rare | 15 | 8 |
| Epic | 5 | 7 |
| Legendary | 2 | 3 |
Enchant Slots
The hoe follows the standard material progression.
| Hoe | Enchant Slots |
| Wood Hoe | 1 |
| Stone Hoe | 2 |
| Copper Hoe | 3 |
| Gold Hoe | 3 |
| Iron Hoe | 4 |
| Diamond Hoe | 5 |
| Archangel Hoe | 6 |
| Netherite Hoe | 7 |
| Satanic Hoe | 8 |
Rolling a crystal past the cap doesn't block it, but cuts the base success rate by 10% (only exactly at cap) - Crystal Dust can offset this, but never above the crystal's original base.
Common
The bread and butter. These show up constantly - expect to see all six before long.
Rapid Reap I | Conflicts: Frenetic Harvest
Three consecutive hits within a 1.5-second burst window skip the attack cooldown. Resets on miss or target switch.

Bountiful Reap I - III
Chance for extra drops when breaking a fully-grown crop - 20% at I, 40% at II, 50% at III. Doesn't affect replanting.
Quick Reap I - II

Reaper's Pace I - II

Killing blows deal splash damage to all enemies within 2 blocks - 50% of the killing hit at I, 75% at II. Doesn't re-trigger on-kill effects.
Tilling Strike I
Every hit converts the block beneath your target to farmland. Enables Dark Till's damage bonus and keeps mobs in Grave Digger's zone.

The first hit after a sprint deals double damage and applies Slowness II - 2 seconds at I, 4 seconds at II. Immediately primes Quick Reap.
Death Harvest I - II | Conflicts: Blood Furrow
Each kill grants Regeneration I for 2 seconds at I, or Regeneration II at II. Compounds in group fights.
Field Reaper I - II

Consecutive hits on the same target stack a damage bonus - 3% per hit at I, 4% at II, 5% at III - up to 5 stacks. Resets on miss or target switch.
Dust Cloud I
Breaking dirt, grass, or farmland erupts a 2-block debris cloud for 2 seconds. Mobs inside have 30% reduced hit accuracy.
Iron Grit I - II
Taking damage while holding the hoe grants 25% damage reduction at I or 40% at II for 1 second. Entirely passive.
Rare
Specialist enchants. These define a build. You know when you roll one.

Reaping Moon I
After sunset, doubles crop fortune yields and boosts mob kill XP by 50%. Amplifies Bountiful Reap and Soul Harvest without touching combat damage.
Momentum I - II | Conflicts: Iron Furrow
Sprint speed at the moment of impact converts to bonus damage - up to +30% at I or +50% at II. Reaper's Pace feeds it naturally after every kill.
