Private messaging, mentions, and where to find server info.

Private Messages

• /msg <player> <message> (aliases: /message, /pm, /dm) - send a private message to another online player.
• /reply <message> (alias: /r) - reply to your last conversation without retyping their name.

Both play a quiet notification sound to sender and recipient. If someone has private messages turned off in /settings, you'll be told they're not accepting messages rather than having it silently fail.

Mentions

Type @username in public chat to mention someone. If they're online, their name highlights and they get a title notification with a sound, plus a hover tooltip letting them click straight into a reply. Mentioning yourself does nothing, and mentioning an offline or misspelled name just shows as plain text.

Don't want to be mentioned? Turn off Allow Mentions in /settings, this makes you fully unmentionable, no highlight, no notification, nothing.

Chat Extras

• Typing certain shortcodes in chat turns them into symbols, things like :heart:, :smile:, <3, and circled letters/numbers via :a: through :z: and :1: through :9:.
• Hovering over someone's name in chat shows their rank and balance, and clicking it drops a /msg shortcut into your chat box.
• You can hide public chat entirely for yourself via the Receive Chat setting in /settings, if you'd rather not see it at all.

Server Info

• /discord (alias: /dcord) - get a clickable link to join our Discord.
• /rules - opens a menu covering client rules, general rules, and chat rules.
• /staff (alias: /stafflist) - see who's currently online staff.
